  1. I think that the one in the greatest danger is the newspaper but that's because people don't always know or understand the value of the print media. Radio I think will always survive because of its benefits especially when taking long journeys as a lot of us often do in Trini traffic. TV on the other hand when paired up with cable seems to be a winner all around. I think a lot of people still obssess over tv (like me):-). I think if you've had a long hectic day, tv is still the best medium because you be a part of it without having to move, type, read or think. To me most people using social networking sites (SNS) desire some kind of interaction with someone. Therefore if your desire is to be left alone and entertained, tv is an excellent option. Having said all that, I guess we can't deny the new wave of the internet and SNS. I guess it would be around for a while, or at least until the "next best thing" comes around.

  2. Its all about improvement. The same way we are looking to improve everything else in the world to make it better, the same goes for media. The media is just keeping people interseted in their work. People dont have time to read a book or papers these days because of time its basically boring to sit for 2 or 3 hours when you can watch television for 30 mins and get the same information. It keeps you more entertained and attentive and to me relates a story better(thats my personal opinion)This video was well done. it really shows how the media has grown to what it is now.

  7. This was new...I like the idea of a video its creative...not much reading :)
But the issue of the newspaper and traditional media becoming extinct is really true, everything is online now, and to some extent it's good...going green and all saving the trees using less paper...but then there is the whole situation of accessibilty... not everyone has access to computers and the internet.
So the notion of trational media is real but not in a vast sense....maybe when governments start giving computers to every child .
